A World of Pinot Noir
Though it would be fun to live on Champagne alone, Pinot Noir has
equally transcendent qualities. You will taste a wide array of styles
of this versatile, elegant and treasured varietal from all over the
world.
Participating wineries include: Siduri, Testarossa, Fort
Ross, Domaine Drouhin, Louis Latour, Duckhorn, AP Vin, Felton Road,
Penner Ash, Domaine Serene, Ponzi, Bergstrom, Freeman, Goldeneye and
Hirsch Vineyards.
The Swank Venue
A special tasting deserves a special setting. The City Club of San Francisco,
housed in the original Pacific Stock Exchange Building, provides the
ultimate backdrop for a night of fine wines. The multi-level club has
been meticulously restored to its gleaming art deco era splendor. The
famous staircase wall mural by Diego Rivera completes the feeling of
elegance and grandeur.
The Extras
Latin Jazz
quartet, Mas Cabeza, will fill the room with timeless, sultry sounds
and the City Club will provide delicious hors d'oeuvres to complement
the wines.
